And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
Paul did not claim that everything in life was great but rather, that all of God’s works have purpose whether we see the benefit or not. God does not spare Christians from tragedy nor stop others from persecuting us but we can take comfort in knowing that every experience in our life will contribute to our own good.
