Sabold Elementary School has always allowed students to announce “God Bless America” after the morning Pledge of Allegiance. That changed this month when the school bowed to demands from Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF). According to FFRF, the atheist organization received a complaint from a parent and contacted superintendent Anthony Barber claiming that “God Bless America” is a prayer and should be banned.
