Beer-Lahai-Roi (or Beer-Lahairoi) is a well in Negev between Kadesh and Bered. Meaning “the well of the living one who sees me”, it is the well where Hagar met the angel of God and learned of the upcoming birth of a son. Isaac and his family settled near the location. Some put the location about 50 miles south of Beersheba and 12 miles west of Ain Kadis.
